PAU gears up to hold Dooji Punjab Sarkar-Kisan Milni and NRI Farmers’ Conclave
For the economic empowerment of the Punjab farmers, the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) will hold Dooji (second) Punjab Sarkar-Kisan Milni and NRI Farmers’ Conclave: Experience Exchange for Punjab Farmers’ Welfare on May 11 and 12 under the directions of the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
Ludhiana, May 10, 2023: For the economic empowerment of the Punjab farmers, the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) will hold Dooji (second) Punjab Sarkar-Kisan Milni and NRI Farmers’ Conclave: Experience Exchange for Punjab Farmers’ Welfare on May 11 and 12 under the directions of the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, Agriculture Minister, Punjab; other cabinet ministers and MLAs will also grace the occasion.
Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice-Chancellor, PAU, will preside over both the events.
The milni will kick start at the mela ground at 11.00 am, while the NRI Conclave will begin in the afternoon on May 11 followed by a close interaction with the farmers at Shergill farm, Una road, Hoshiarpur on May 12.
Thousands of farmers are expected to participate in the milni which will be receiving feedback from the agricultural community, discussing their farm related problems and providing solutions for the same at Salah-Mashwara halls.
Besides, NRI farmers-Punjab farmers’ interface will witness exchange of views and sharing of experiences regarding different aspects of agriculture and allied occupations.
