PAU HOLDS A POT PAINTING COMPETITION

Ludhiana, July 20, 2023: To explore the creative potential in young minds of the students, the Department of Extension Education, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), organized a pot painting competition in which 24 students participated enthusiastically.

Dr Kuldeep Singh, Head of the department, remarked, “Painting not only helps creative development but also stimulates the brain.” He opined that the competition was organized to enhance the creative skills and talent among the students as well as connect them with the nature. The students came up with diverse state of mind, and beautifully painted and decorated the pots used for beautification of the department.

Dr Lakhwinder Kaur, who organized this event, said that pot painting was not only the activity but also could be a gateway craft. She urged the students to work in team and respect teachers as they played the most vital role in student’s lives.

Dr Lavleesh Garg proposed a vote of thanks and encouraged the students to learn more practical skills from this department. This event sparked the connection of students with nature.
