PAU Holds Quiz Competition For MBA Students

Ludhiana, July 10, 2023: Under the banner of Management Science Association, the School of Business Studies of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), organized a quiz competition for MBA, MBA (Agri Business) and Ph.D students. The purpose of organising the series of extracurricular activities was to develop leadership qualities, participating approach, group dynamics and discipline among students, enabling them to showcase their managerial skills when exposed to the professional field and enhance the capabilities of their respective organisations.

During the quiz competition, Quiz Master Nikansha Jain asked elaborative questions from varied fields concerning management, politics, history, economic dimensions, etc. Team A comprising students Ankit, Avantika Bishnoi, Kanwar and Yuvraj bagged the first prize followed by the Team C comprising students Rudrakshi, Muskan, Uttamdeep Kaur and Jatin securing the second position. The third prize was won by the Team D which comprised students, namely Rachit, Satvik, Muskan Bharti, Lakshmi.

Dr Ramandeep Singh, Director, School of Business Studies, emphasized to maintain a balance among academics, sports and cultural activities to imbibe leadership and personality traits amongst the students of PAU. He also highlighted the role of Management Science Association (MSA), so that students can attract the best private and public organisations for summer training placements and final placements.

Dr Sandeep Kapur, Professor of Business Studies, gave away prizes to the winners.

Dr Rakesh Rathore, Member, MSA, organized the quiz and later, proposed a vote of thanks.
