PAU holds session on “Exploring Yourself To Succeed” for students
The University Counseling and Placement Guidance Cell, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), organized a session on “Exploring yourself to succeed” for the undergraduate and postgraduate students. The programme was held under the aegis of Directorate of Students’ Welfare, PAU.
Ludhiana, April 4, 2024: The University Counseling and Placement Guidance Cell, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), organized a session on “Exploring yourself to succeed” for the undergraduate and postgraduate students. The programme was held under the aegis of Directorate of Students’ Welfare, PAU.
A resource person Dr BB Singla, Associate Professor, School of Management Studies, Punjabi University, Patiala discussed that in order to gain an edge in career oriented competition, the students must learn to improve their soft skills. Asking the youths to explore their potential to be successful, Dr Singla said, “Self-exploration is about cultivating a deep understanding of your character, feelings, and desires.”
Dr Khushdeep Dharni, Associate Director, University Counseling and Placement Guidance Cell, observed that employers always look for skill set and attitude in their prospective employees and students need to work regularly on their soft skills for enhancing employability.
Dr Nirmal Singh Jaura, Director Students’ Welfare, lauded the efforts of the Placement Cell and ensured continued placement guidance to the students.
