PAU MEDIA ASSISTANT GETS SELECTED IN INDIAN INFORMATION SERVICE
Dr Vikram Singh, Media Assistant, Department of Agricultural Journalism, Languages and Culture, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has been selected as Senior Grade, Indian Information Service (IIS) in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. The selection process was conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Ludhiana, July 17, 2023: Dr Vikram Singh, Media Assistant, Department of Agricultural Journalism, Languages and Culture, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has been selected as Senior Grade, Indian Information Service (IIS) in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. The selection process was conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice-Chancellor, PAU; Dr Manav Indra Singh Gill, Registrar and Dr Shammi Kapoor, Dean, College of Basic Science and Humanities, congratulated Dr Vikram Singh for his salient achievement and appreciated his efforts for clinching the top post.
Dr Sarabjeet Singh, Head, Department of Agricultural Journalism, Languages and Culture, stated that Dr Vikram Singh was the only candidate from PAU to have been selected in Indian Information Service (IIS) in the last three decades and for Punjabi language.
