PAU Placement Cell holds session on resume writing
The University Counselling and Placement Guidance Cell of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), organized a session on “Resume Writing and Interview Skills” for final year students of B.Tech (Food Technology), Department of Food Science of Technology, College of Agriculture, PAU. The session was held under the aegis of the Directorate of Students’ Welfare.

Ludhiana, December 20, 2023: The University Counselling and Placement Guidance Cell of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), organized a session on “Resume Writing and Interview Skills” for final year students of B.Tech (Food Technology), Department of Food Science of Technology, College of Agriculture, PAU. The session was held under the aegis of the Directorate of Students’ Welfare.
Dr Khushdeep Dharni, Associate Director, University Counseling and Placement Guidance Cell, highlighted the importance of resume building and advised the students to consider resume as a marketing tool for presenting their candidature to prospective employees. He also suggested customizing their resumes as per the job requirement, and emphasized on building soft and hard skills for inversing the employability of the students. Later, he provided valuable and detailed insights regarding appearing in job interviews.
Dr Nirmal Singh Jaura, Director Students’ Welfare, urged the students to connect with the University Placement Cell for skill building and getting ready for future challenges.
Dr Jagbir Rehal, Food Technologist (Fruit and Vegetable) and Gurpreet Singh Virk, Welfare Officer, were also present on the occasion.
