PAU Research Fellow gets Young Women Scientist Award
Dr Harshdeep Kaur from the Department of Chemistry, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has been conferred with the “Young Women Scientist Award” for her excellence in research on agrochemicals.
Ludhiana, January 5, 2024: Dr Harshdeep Kaur from the Department of Chemistry, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has been conferred with the “Young Women Scientist Award” for her excellence in research on agrochemicals. She received a memento and an Appreciation Certificate at an International Conference on “One Health-One World,” organized by Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (RVSKVV), Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh in collaboration with ICAR-IISS Bhopal, AIIMS Bhopal and Agri Meet Foundation on December 28-29, 2023. This prestigious award was presented by Dr AK Singh, former Vice-Chancellor and Dr AK Shukla, present Vice-Chancellor of RVSKVV, Gwalior.
Dr Harshdeep Kaur has done her Ph.D under the supervision of Dr Pervinder Kaur, Chemist (Residue), Department of Agronomy, PAU and presently, she is working as a Research Fellow (AICRP) in the Department of Agronomy, PAU.
Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice-Chancellor; Dr Makhan Singh Bhullar, Director of Extension Education and Head, Department of Agronomy; Dr Shammi Kapoor, Dean, College of Basic Sciences and Humanities; Dr Charanjit Singh Aulakh, Dean, College of Agriculture; and Dr Manjeet Kaur Sangha, Head, Department of Chemistry, congratulated Dr Harshdeep Kaur and her Major Advisor Dr Pervinder Kaur for this achievement.
