PAU Retirees’ Association donates Rs.4,51,000 in Covid-19 CM Corona Fund

Ludhiana: Jila Ram Bansal, President, PAU Retirees' Welfare Association alongwith Satish Sood, General Secretary and B.B. Sharma, Assistant Estate Officer, PL Dua and Nitya Nand handed over a cheque of Rs.4,51,000 to the Vice Chancellor, PAU Ludhiana for the Chief Minister Covid-19 Relief Fund.
In this regard a request on WhatsApp was made during curfew by Bansal, President. B.B. Sharma, Assistant Estate Officer donated Rs.1 lac. In spite of curfew about 180 retirees donated voluntarily through net banking out of which 26 women retirees also voluntarily came forward to help the corona warriors.
Jila Ram Bansal, Satish Sood, Ajit Singh Cheema, Charanjit Singh Grewal, PL Dua, Satish Goswami, Nitya Nand, Labh Singh Chahal, Anoop Singh, Avtar Singh Mahal and Kailash Chander worked hard to make this cause a success.
