Ludhiana, November 6, 2021: Today a meeting of the PAU Retirees’ Welfare Association executive committee held under the presidentship of Jila Ram Bansal. In this meeting about 40 members participated. A decision to hold general body meeting on November 9, in Students Home Hall at 11 am was taken. In this meeting, election of President will be held. AGM of SBI will highlight the schemes related with senior citizens.
Bansal President told that soon a delegation of executive members will meet the Chief Minister of Punjab to discuss the cases of Senior juniors, master scales, insurance Mediclaim, timely payment of pension, creating of High Power legal cell to give justice to those who unnecessarily filed suits in court and also to those who are likely to move the court, opening of ayurvedic and homeopathy dispensaries, removal of unwanted and illegal interference of local audit of Punjab.
In the end, Satish Sood General Secretary told that Gurpreet Singh Gogi, Chairman Punjab Industrial Corporation has promised to arrange our meeting with the Chief Minister.
Anoop Singh, Nitya Nand, Jaswant Singh, Satish Goswami, MR Passi, Ajit Singh Cheema, Jasbir, Gurmukh Singh, Narinder Pal Singh, Inderjeet Singh, Charanjit Singh, Grewal, Birbal, Jagga Singh, Avtar Mahal, Kailash and KL Kalra were present.
