PAU Revokes Suspension of Junior Lab Assistant Amrik Singh

Ludhiana, April 24, 2025: Panjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana has revoked the suspension order of Amrik Singh, Junior Lab Assistant, Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics.
Registrar of PAU has issued an order in this regard, mentioning "The Vice Chancellor of the Punjab Agricultural University is pleased to revoke the suspension orders of Sh. Amrik Singh, Junior Lab Assistant, Department of Plant Genetics issued vide this office orders Endst.No.Admn.VIII.AU.2025/5708-13 dated 11.04.2025."
According to available information, the Office of Vice Chancellor PAU had forwarded the request of Amrik Singh to the Registrar's Office in which Amrik Singh had stated that he had been suspended from the University services vide this office Endst no.5708-13 dated 11.04.2025. Amrik Singh had further stated that he had always perform his official work with full honesty and faithfulness and had never done anything and requested that his suspension may kindly be revoked.
It may be mentioned here that Amrik Singh was placed under suspension on the basis of report received from the Security Officer, PAU, after obtaining approval of the VC. The VC also constituted a three-member committee comprising of Registrar as Convenor and Dean, College of Agriculture and Estate Officer as Members. This committee felt that the request of Amrik Singh may be considered sympathetically and his suspension may be revoked.
A meeting was also held on April 22 in the office of VC in which Commissioner Police, Ludhiana and Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana was present and it was decided that the suspension of Amrik Singh may be revoked.
In view of this, the case was submitted to the VC for consideration and further orders.
Finally, PAU, Ludhiana issued an order to revoke the suspension of Amrik Singh.
