PAU student Dr Prabhjit Kaur bags best poster presentation award
Dr Prabhjit Kaur, Ph.D. (Agronomy), Department of Agronomy, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has been conferred with the “Best Poster Award” for the paper entitled “Increasing the productivity of rice-wheat cropping system through integrated nutrient management.”
Ludhiana, November 30, 2023: Dr Prabhjit Kaur, Ph.D. (Agronomy), Department of Agronomy, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has been conferred with the “Best Poster Award” for the paper entitled “Increasing the productivity of rice-wheat cropping system through integrated nutrient management.”
She presented her paper during the XXII National Symposium on “Climate Smart Agronomy for Resilient Production Systems and Livelihood Security,” held at ICAR-Central Agricultural Research Institute, Goa from November 22-24. In her Ph.D. research, she worked on “Maximizing rice yield through agronomic interventions and its effect on system productivity, quality and soil health in rice-wheat cropping system” under the guidance of Dr KS Saini, Principal Agronomist.
