PAU STUDENT GETS INSPIRE FELLOWSHIP
Manjinder Kaur, a Ph.D. research scholar, Department of Zoology, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has brought laurels to the University by achieving the prestigious innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) fellowship from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), on the topic “Habitat ecology and breeding biology of Indian wild boar (Sus scrofa Linnaeus) in Punjab” under the guidance of Dr Nisha Vashishat, Zoologist, Department of Zoology, PAU.
Ludhiana, July 19, 2023: Manjinder Kaur, a Ph.D. research scholar, Department of Zoology, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has brought laurels to the University by achieving the prestigious innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) fellowship from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), on the topic “Habitat ecology and breeding biology of Indian wild boar (Sus scrofa Linnaeus) in Punjab” under the guidance of Dr Nisha Vashishat, Zoologist, Department of Zoology, PAU.
The INSPIRE fellowship is a postgraduate scholarship offered to the first ranker of the University in the basic and applied science courses. The fellowship consists of Rs 31,000+Rs 4,000 HRA per month with a contingent grant of Rs 20,000 per annum.
