PAU student selected for India Food Systems Fellowship 2023
Kajal, M.Sc student of Department of Food and Nutrition, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has been selected for prestigious Fellowship Programme launched by the Food Future Foundation under The India Food Systems Fellowship (TIFE).
Ludhiana, June 5, 2023: Kajal, M.Sc student of Department of Food and Nutrition, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has been selected for prestigious Fellowship Programme launched by the Food Future Foundation under The India Food Systems Fellowship (TIFE). The Fellowship programme will provide her opportunity to enhance leadership skills and knowledge to drive food system change in India. She will be a part of India Food System Leaders Network (IFSLN) to achieve SDGs 2030 and pave the way for a people-centric food system transition to address challenges including hunger, malnutrition, poverty, environmental degradation, climate change and livelihoods in India. This will help to create a more sustainable, resilient and equitable food system, benefiting people, planet and our economies and society.
Kajal completed her Masters recently under the guidance of Dr Kiran Grover, Principal Extension Scientist-cum-Head, Department of Food and Nutrition, PAU.
