PAU student tops ICAR-AICE Exam

Ulka Pantan, an M.Sc. student of the Department of Human Development and Family Studies, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has bought laurels to the institution by achieving all India first rank in the ICAR-All India Competitive Examination (AICE)-JRF/SRF (Ph.D) 2023, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Ludhiana, October 3, 2023: Ulka Pantan, an M.Sc. student of the Department of Human Development and Family Studies, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has bought laurels to the institution by achieving all India first rank in the ICAR-All India Competitive Examination (AICE)-JRF/SRF (Ph.D) 2023, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). She has topped in the subject of Human Development and Family Studies. For this achievement, Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) will reward her with a fellowship of Rs 31,000/- per month for the first two years (JRF) and Rs 35,000/- per month for the third year (SRF) with an addition of contingency grant of Rs 10,000/- per year. Another M.Sc student, Ms Pratibha Sharma from the same department has secured fifth rank in the same exam.
