PAU’s HOME SCIENCE ASSOCIATION ORGANISES FAREWELL PARTY
A farewell party was organised by Home Science Association (HSA), College of Community Science, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), for the outgoing students of B.Sc (Hons) Community Science and B.Sc (Hons) Nutrition and Dietetics. The event included a range of performances marvellously showcased by the students of the junior batches. Modelling contest was the most attractive part of the entire function. Students of the final year of the College participated in this contest.

Ludhiana, July 28, 2023: A farewell party was organised by Home Science Association (HSA), College of Community Science, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), for the outgoing students of B.Sc (Hons) Community Science and B.Sc (Hons) Nutrition and Dietetics. The event included a range of performances marvellously showcased by the students of the junior batches. Modelling contest was the most attractive part of the entire function. Students of the final year of the College participated in this contest.
The chief guest Dr Kiranjot Sidhu, Dean, College of Community Science, encouraged the students to use their intellectual potential and life skills gained in the College, efficiently and effectively, for stepping into a new competitive world.
The HSA advisors Dr Surabhi Mahajan and Dr Renuka Aggarwal coordinated the event.
Among girls, Gurleen Kaur was adjudged as Ms Farewell, Harleen Kaur as Ms Elegant and Radhika Mittal as Ms Beautiful Smile. Among boys, Nimchal Kumar was adjudged as Mr Farewell.
Shivani Goel from the outgoing batch of B.Sc (Hons) Nutrition and Dietetics, and Radhika Mittal from B.Sc (Hons) Community Science were awarded with the ‘Students of the Year’ award.
The heads of various departments of the College, faculty and students attended the function.
