PCCTU delegation meeting with Higher Education Minister Punjab

Jalandhar, June 11, 2019: Punjab and Chandigarh College Teacher Union delegation under the stewardship of General Secretary Dr Sukhdev Singh Randhawa , Dr Tarsem Singh Bhinder-Area Secretary , GNDU, Prof B.B.Yadav-District President, Amritsar, Dr Charanjit Singh Finance Secretary, and Prof Dyan Singh-Secretary met newly appointed Higher Education Minister S.Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa to take time to discuss the long pending demands of PCCTU and problems faced by teaching staff . The delegation discussed with minister regarding the implementation of 7th Pay Commission in Punjab by Punjab Government, regularization of grants of all grant in aid colleges and also regularization of 1925 recruited college teachers on 3 years contractual period with immediate effect. S.Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa gave assurance to the members of delegation to raise the issue amicably and favourably to get it fulfilled soon.
