PCCTU Unit of PCM S.D. College for Women protests against government polices

Jalandhar, February 6, 2023: Under the able guidance of President of PCCTU Unit of PCM S.D.College for Women, Jalandhar, Ujla Dada Joshi, a protest was held in the college campus against the callous attitude of Punjab Government. The protest is against the Government's decision of reduction in the retirement age from 60 to 58 years, centralised admission and to restore the grant from 75% to 95℅ for the private grant-in-aid colleges. She maintained that entire teachers' union should unite and oppose these anti- teacher polices. In accordance with the directions issued by PCCTU, the entire teacher fraternity will resort to indefinite struggle in the attempt to stand against these unacceptable policies of the government. The Managing Committee and the worthy Principal of the college fully supported the protest.
