PCM SD College for Women bids adieu to final year students 

PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar bid a warm adieu to the final year students with great enthusiasm. The chief guest of the day was Principal Prof.(Dr.) Pooja Prashar, the worthy Principal of the college. The event was an absolute fiesta devoted to the time spent together with friends and teachers to reminisce joyous moments. The event commenced with a singing performance by a student. After which, the students of the department of Dance gave a fusion dance performance. Principal Madam encouraged students to proceed boldly with goals and courage in their hearts. She also appreciated their efforts for enthusiastically participating in various college activities and raising the bar of perfection. She wished them luck to make a mark in the world outside, carrying forth the college  motto of 'Do Your Job Well'. Deepali of M.B.E.I.T Semester II and Simran of BA Semester VI delivered their address expressing gratitude to the mentors and teachers for their invaluable contribution in making their college journey a memorable one. The highlight of the function was the beautiful cultural presentations showcased by the students. 

The students put forth a mix of scintillating dance performances, melodious songs and pulsating music that rocked the auditorium. Various games were also held for the students. A modeling competition took place where Parineeta of BSc CSc Semester VI was the second runners up and Vanshika of B.Com Semester VI was the first runners up. Deepali of M.B.E.I T Semester II was crowned as  Miss. SD. Apart from this, Manisha of BA Semester VI was bestowed with the title of Best Hairstyle, Kiran of MSc FD Semester IV was given the title of Best Smile, Shivani of M.Com Semester IV was given the title of Best Dress. Title of Best Model was given to Nancy of BCom Semester VI and Simran of BA Semester VI was given the title of Creativity. Deepu, a second year student shared her experience with the seniors highlighting their contributions and learning experience they received so that the juniors too follow their foot prints. The dedication and efforts taken by the seniors in every activity of the college was recalled during her speech. The students danced to their heart’s content. Many were seen clicking pictures of friends and teachers – capturing memories of college forever. 

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Neena Mittal. President Naresh Kumar Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, other members of the Management and the Principal of the college wished best of luck to the outgoing students. 
The stage was skillfully conducted by Shikha Puri and students Dolly and Sachi of B.Com Semester IV. The entire event wad organised by the collaborative efforts of Central and Association and the Youth Club.
