PCM S.D. College for Women breathes in Exuberant Vibes on 48th College Fete

Jalandhar, February 11, 2023: The 48th College Fete 2023 was organized at PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar under the effective leadership of Principal Prof. Dr. Pooja Prashar. 

Irvin Khanna, Chief Editor, Uttam Hindu was the chief guest of the day who gratified us with his magnificent persona. President Naresh Kumar Budhia, Senior Vice-President Vinod Dada, T.N. Lama, D.K. Joshi and Parveen Dada were the members of the managing committee who graced the event. Vinod Khurana was also the guest. 

The event began with floral welcome and lighting of the ceremonious lamp. Department of Music initiated the event with a 'bhajan'. 

Principal Prof. Dr. Pooja Prashar extended a cordial welcome to our reverent guests. The chief guest addressed the audience with his vivacious speech. He held that students should live a life vested in simplicity, dignity and moral values and should look upto their teachers as role models. The guests reveled in the splendid glory of the cultural bonanza prepared by the students of the Department of Dance in the form of a 'Luddi'. He declared the fete open and then took a round of delicious Food Stalls, Fun games and Grooming Station. Students of Department of Fashion Designing and Cosmetology laid up their own stalls of handmade and jewellery items under ‘Earn While You Learn’ scheme. A separate stall was also put up by Punjab National Bank, Ladowali Road Branch. The main attraction of the evening session was the Raffle Draw and Naresh Kumar Budhia Ji was its chief guest. Shri Vinod Dada too graced this session. 
Winners were announced and prizes were given to them. 

Sunil Kumar, Chief Manager PNB, Jalandhar Circle Office, Sarabjit Bhardawaj, Senior Manager, PNB, Ladowali Road, Mr Jaswant Singh from Advance Communication and Sumesh Sharma, Assistant Vice President, Capital Small Finance Bank were the sponsors of the raffle draw. The guests and the students enjoyed to their hearts’ content by grooving to the rhythms and beats of the songs. 

President Naresh Kumar Budhia, Senior Vice-President Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and Principal Prof. Dr. Pooja Prashar congratulated the winners.
