PCM SD College for Women holds Investiture Ceremony

To inculcate leadership qualities in the students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, Central Association and Cultural Enlightenment Cell of the college organised an Investiture Ceremony. It was held in the morning assembly wherein different students were adorned with badges representing various acclaimed offices.

Jalandhar, November 22, 2023: To inculcate leadership qualities in the students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, Central Association and Cultural Enlightenment Cell of the college organised an Investiture Ceremony. It was held in the morning assembly wherein different students were adorned with badges representing various acclaimed offices. 

The ceremony was held with a motto to instil the students with a sense of responsibility and duty.  The celebrated badges encouraged them to incorporate discipline in their daily life and in bringing out and polishing their leadership skills. 

Principal Prof.(Dr.) Pooja Prashar pinned the badges to the attires of highly zealous students. In Central Association, Arpanjot Kaur of MBEIT Semester III was appointed as the Head girl of the Department of Post Graduation, Deepu Rana Sharma of B.A.B.Ed  Semester V was made the Head girl of the Graduate Department and Harmandeep Kaur of BCA Semester V was elected the Head Girl of the IT Department. Muskan Kalia of M.Com Semester I, Silvi Prabhkar of B.Com (FS,) Semester III  and Bhawna of BCA Semester V were appointed as the Vice-President. Sachi of B.Com Semester V and Himanshi of M.Com Semester I were made Secretary whereas Anshika of B.Sc (Economics) Semester I was elected as the Joint Secretary. Divya of B.Sc (Economics) Semester V was made the Treasurer of the Association. Apart from these, five more students were appointed as  Discipline-in-charges of the Association. In Cultural Enlightenment Cell, Pooja of MBEIT Semester I was appointed as President and Jaspreet of B.Com Semester V was elected as Vice President. Nancy of M.Com Semester I  was appointed as Secretary, Vaishnavi of B.Com Semester III was made the Joint Secretary  and Neha of B.Com Semester III  was elected as Treasurer. 

President Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, other honourable members of the managing committee and Principal lauded the students on acquiring new roles and motivated them to perform duties attached with these offices to the best of their abilities.
