PCM S.D. College for Women holds Investiture Ceremony to promote leadership among students

Jalandhar, September 11, 2024: To inculcate leadership qualities in students and give them a firsthand experience of administrative functioning, the English Literary Society of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organised an Investiture Ceremony. 

The ceremony aimed to instill a sense of responsibility and duty among students while encouraging them to embrace discipline in their daily lives and develop their leadership skills. Aabroo Sharma, Head of the Department of English, along with other faculty members, pinned badges onto the zealous students, symbolizing their new roles. Aastha of B.A. Semester V was appointed as President, Mansi of B.A. Semester V as Vice President, Anshita of B.A. Semester III as Treasurer, Bhavna of B.A. Semester III as Secretary, and Purnima of B.A. Semester III as Joint Secretary. The executive members included Harman of B.A. B.Ed. Semester III, Harnoor of B.A. Semester I, Nazia of B.A. Semester I, Gauri of B.A. Semester I, and Jasleen of B.A. B.Ed. Semester I. 

President Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, other esteemed members of the managing committee, and the Principal Prof Dr. Pooja Prashar congratulated the students on their new roles and encouraged them to perform their duties with dedication and excellence.
