PCM S.D. College for Women hosts Declamation Competition on Drug Abuse
PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar hosted a Declamation Competition on the topic, “Drug Abuse and its Effects on the Social Fabric,” under the Buddy Program being run at the college, following the directives of the Government of Punjab. Nearly twelve students participated enthusiastically in the competition, aimed at raising awareness against drug abuse.
Jalandhar, September 12, 2024: PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar hosted a Declamation Competition on the topic, “Drug Abuse and its Effects on the Social Fabric,” under the Buddy Program being run at the college, following the directives of the Government of Punjab. Nearly twelve students participated enthusiastically in the competition, aimed at raising awareness against drug abuse.
In a display of eloquence and insight, Pooja of MBEIT Semester III secured the first position, Rupinder Kaur of B.Sc. (Fashion Designing ) Semester I achieved the second position, and Komal of B.A. Semester III took third place.
President Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, other honorable members of the Managing Committee, and the esteemed Principal of the college, Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Prashar, praised the students for their participation and encouraged them to continue engaging in such meaningful activities to spread awareness in society. The Principal also commended the dedicated efforts of the faculty managing the college’s Buddy Program.
