PCM S.D. College for Women hosts Investiture Ceremony of Commerce Club for Session 2024-25
The PG Department of Commerce and Management of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organised the Investiture Ceremony of the Commerce Club for the academic session 2024-25. The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Principal Prof.Dr.Pooja Prashar, who was accompanied by Alka Sharma, Head of the Commerce Department, and Shikha Puri, Dean of the Commerce Club.

Jalandhar, November 20, 2024: The PG Department of Commerce and Management of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organised the Investiture Ceremony of the Commerce Club for the academic session 2024-25. The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Principal Prof.Dr.Pooja Prashar, who was accompanied by Alka Sharma, Head of the Commerce Department, and Shikha Puri, Dean of the Commerce Club.
A total of 47 students were pinned badges during the event, with 14 office bearers and 33 executive members being chosen to lead the club for the year. The newly inducted members received their badges with pride and enthusiasm.
In her address, Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar congratulated the office bearers and executive members on their selection and encouraged them to carry out their responsibilities with commitment, dedication, and a spirit of teamwork. She emphasized the importance of participating in extracurricular activities and urged the students to engage with zeal and enthusiasm to enhance their skills and contribute to the club's growth.
The office bearers chosen for the Commerce Club include Muskan Kalia (M.Com Sem-III) as President (PG), Silvi (B.Com (FS) Sem-V) as President (UG), Harmanpreet Kaur (M.Com Sem-III) as Vice President (PG), Dipanshi (B.Com (FS) Sem-V) as Vice President (UG), Tanuja Parveen (M.Com Sem-III) as Secretary (PG), Chahat (B.Com Sem-V) as Secretary (UG), Khushi Sharma (M.Com Sem-I) as Joint Secretary (PG), Harman Walia (B.Com (FS) Sem-III) as Joint Secretary (UG), Rajni (M.Com Sem-I) as Treasurer (PG), Vidhi Mohan (B.Com Sem-V) as Treasurer (UG), Manmeet (M.Com Sem-III) as Creativity & Innovation Team In Charge, Vaishnawi (B.Com Sem-V) as Cultural Activities Team In Charge, Sakshi (M.Com Sem-I) as Discipline Team In Charge, and Himani (M.Com Sem-III) as Hospitality Team In Charge.
President Naresh Bhudia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, the other members of the managing committee, and the worthy Principal praised the students for their dedication and expressed confidence in their ability to contribute significantly to the activities and growth of the Commerce Club.
