PCM S.D. College for Women organises Poetry Recitation Competition
The Department of Punjabi, in association with the NSS unit of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organised a Poetry Recitation Competition. A total of 25 students from various classes participated in the event, which aimed to provide a platform for students to showcase their creative talents while promoting awareness about environmental cleanliness.

Jalandhar, October 7, 2024: The Department of Punjabi, in association with the NSS unit of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organised a Poetry Recitation Competition. A total of 25 students from various classes participated in the event, which aimed to provide a platform for students to showcase their creative talents while promoting awareness about environmental cleanliness.
Gauri (B.A. Semester I) secured the first position, Sudha (B.A. B.Ed. Semester I) won the second position, and Natasha (B.A. Semester I) achieved the third position. Harman Kaur (B.A. Semester I) received a consolation prize for her performance.
President Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, members of the Managing Committee, and Principal Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Prashar lauded the efforts of the Department of Punjabi and the NSS unit, encouraging students to participate in more such initiatives that blend creativity with social awareness.
