PCM S.D. College for Women organises Signature Campaign Against Drug Abuse
Under the aegis of the Buddy Group, PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organised a Signature Campaign Against Drug Abuse on September 24. This initiative aimed to create awareness about the detrimental effects of drug abuse and to inspire collective action among students, faculty, and the community at large.
Jalandhar, September 28, 2024: Under the aegis of the Buddy Group, PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organised a Signature Campaign Against Drug Abuse on September 24. This initiative aimed to create awareness about the detrimental effects of drug abuse and to inspire collective action among students, faculty, and the community at large.
The campaign witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who pledged their support to the cause. The event served as a powerful reminder of the college’s commitment to spreading awareness and preventing drug abuse, following the directives of the Government of Punjab.
President Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, and other honorable members of the Managing Committee, along with the Principal of the college, Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Prashar, lauded the students for their active involvement. They encouraged them to continue participating in such meaningful initiatives to promote a healthy and drug-free society.
The Principal also appreciated the relentless efforts of the faculty managing the college’s Buddy Program, recognising their dedication towards the noble cause.
