Jalandhar, December 5, 2024: The Department of Psychology, in collaboration with the Adolescence and Psychiatric Committee, conducted the session on “How to Cope with Stress and Anxiety.”

Addressing the students, Amandeep Kaur, Assistant Professor in Psychology, highlighted the various types of stress, the distinction between stress and anxiety, and practical strategies to overcome them. She elaborated on techniques like exercise, meditation, and progressive muscle relaxation, emphasizing their effectiveness in reducing stress and enhancing overall mental well-being.

It aimed to educate students about the importance of mental health in today’s challenging world. Speaking on the occasion, School Incharge Sushma Sharma remarked that mental health is a crucial aspect of our lives that must be addressed openly and effectively.

The event witnessed the presence of Monika Sharma, Neetu, Jaswinder, Nitika, and Ruhi. 

President Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, along with Principal Prof.(Dr.) Pooja Prashar, lauded the efforts of the School incharge and the teachers for successfully organising this impactful session.

It was a step forward in fostering awareness and equipping students with the tools to manage stress and anxiety, reflecting the institution’s commitment to holistic education and mental well-being.
