PCM S.D. College for Women Organizes Educational cum Religious Trip to Mata Naina Devi & Sri Anandpur Sahid
Under the guidance of IQAC, the PG Department of Fashion Designing and the PG Department of Computer Science & IT of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organized an educational cum religious trip to Mata Naina Devi and Sri Anandpur Sahib. A total of 50 students participated in this enriching journey, which provided them with valuable cultural insights and deepened their spiritual connection.

Jalandhar, February 25, 2025: Under the guidance of IQAC, the PG Department of Fashion Designing and the PG Department of Computer Science & IT of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organized an educational cum religious trip to Mata Naina Devi and Sri Anandpur Sahib. A total of 50 students participated in this enriching journey, which provided them with valuable cultural insights and deepened their spiritual connection.
The trip served as an opportunity for students to explore the rich heritage and historical significance of these sacred sites while also fostering a sense of unity and harmony among them. The students visited Mata Naina Devi Temple, one of the Shakti Peethas, and Sri Anandpur Sahib, the birthplace of Khalsa, where they learned about the profound legacy of Sikh history.
President Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, the other esteemed members of the Managing Committee and the Principal Prof. Dr.Pooja Prashar, appreciated the initiative taken by both departments. They emphasized the importance of such educational excursions in shaping students' perspectives and enhancing their cultural and spiritual understanding.
The trip was successfully coordinated by faculty members from both departments, ensuring a well-organized and enriching experience for the students.
