PCM SD Collegiate Senior Secondary School held a seminar on 'Status of Women' in India. Pramod, Regional Head of 'Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh' was the chief guest of the day.
Jalandhar, July 25, 2022: PCM SD Collegiate Senior Secondary School held a seminar on 'Status of Women' in India. Pramod, Regional Head of 'Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh' was the chief guest of the day. He was accompanied by Ramesh Sharma, former President, BJP, Jalandhar and a thorough advocator of RSS right from his very childhood. Sushil Saini and Sangita Saini, both social workers, graced the occasion with their magnificent presence.
Dr Kiran Arora, Education Advisory to Governing Body was also part of this event. Principal Prof (Dr) Pooja Prashar accorded a warm welcome to the guests. Pramod addressed the students with his illuminating words wherein he highlighted the utility of libraries in the growth of a society, especially women. He expressed his views on social equality and the need to educate girls. Sangita Saini enunciated her views on empowering women which is fundamental to nation-building. Womenfolk need to come forward in every walk of life, to progress and advancement. Towards the conclusion of the event, Principal gave away saplings to the guests as a token of gratitude. Overall, it proved a resourceful session. Members of the managing committee and Principal lauded the efforts of the staff members and Incharge of the School Block, Sushma Sharma for organising such a fruitful discourse.
