Jalandhar, October 27, 2023: The History Association of PCM S.D.College for Women, Jalandhar held an Essay Writing Competition on Valmiki Ramayana.
The event was organized by Kawaljit Kaur and Dr Renu Bala from Department of History. The primary objective of this competition was to instill in students a profound understanding of the significance of the Valmiki Ramayana and its enduring relevance. With unwavering zeal, approximately forty students participated in this literary endeavor. In this competition, Meera of B.A Semester I got first position, Harman of B.A B.Ed Semester I grabbed second position and Bhawana of B.A Semester I got third position.
President Naresh Budhia, Vice President Vinod Dada , the members of the Managing Committee and the Principal Prof.(Dr.) Pooja Prashar appreciated the students for their avid participation.She also praised the efforts of the Department of History for successfully organising the event.
