Ludhiana, February 3, 2025: Punjab College of Technical Education (PCTE) successfully concluded a two-day seminar today on post-budget analysis, following a live telecast of the Union Budget on February 1.

The seminar kicked off with the live broadcast of the budget on February 1, where students and faculty watched as the budget was presented. This was followed by expert-led discussions and analysis  where distinguished guest speakers shared their insights The seminar aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the recent budget and its implications on various industries, particularly for students preparing to join the workforce.  This session was a significant opportunity for students to gain industry-specific knowledge and understand the practical implications of the national budget on various sectors.  

The event was graced by several prominent speakers, including:

Anil Sharma, CMA and Member of the National Task Force on GST, who highlighted the key features and highlights of the budget.

Abhineet Shukla, CFO of Hero Steel Ltd, who discussed the importance of capital expenditure and the need for its increased focus in the coming years.

CMA Sanjeev Jain, Associate Member of ICMAI, who elaborated on the impact of the budget on the insurance industry.
Ravinder Chandla, Regional Director of ASSOCHAM (Northern Region), who offered a holistic view of the budget and its implications on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

Dr. Kang, Director General of PCTE, appreciated the initiative taken by the Business Management Department and emphasized the importance of such sessions in preparing students to join the industry.
