PCTE Group of Institutes gets AICTE approval to start Engineering Courses

Ludhiana, May 13, 2019: PCTE Group of Institutes, a two decades-old global campus with students from 42 countries and 19 International collaborations, add a new stream of Engineering courses under it. All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) has given its approval to PCTE to start with engineering courses under different streams that include Automation & Robotics, Civil Engg., Mechanical Engg., Computer Sci. Engg., and Electrical Engg.

Currently, there are twelve distinct departments like Hotel management, Pharmacy, Medical Lab Sciences, Travel & Tourism, Business Management, Commerce, Fashion Design, Journalism, Agriculture, Biotechnology, and Computer Applications under the ambit of PCTE Group. These courses give budding professionals a convenient way to advance their education and competitiveness in 19 traditional and newly emerging fields.

The course duration for engineering courses is for four years with 60 seats in each stream. PCTE’s engineering is currently accepting applications for engineering programs for the July 2019 session.

PCTE in the span of 20 years has received 19 International and national awards and has also been ranked as the Best Institute of Hotel Management and Pharmacy by IKG Punjab Technical University among 400 other colleges under it.

Dr. K.N.S Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes said that courses that the courses that we run at PCTE, widens the reach for the students, gain necessary knowledge and practical exposure which will prepare the student for academics, research, and industry. He further added, we're excited to offer cutting-edge courses in this area to new students who are interested in supplementing their coursework.
