Ludhiana: As the most awaited winter’s festival Christmas is around the corner, PCTE Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology along with the Theatre Club organised “Christmas Covid Carol Terminator “, An Exotic Christmas Special Bakery & Confectionery food fair.
The event witnessed the presence of Mizan Singh Chauhan, Assistant Commandant. Young HM Entrepreneurs Chefs presented Covid healing delicacies, Exotic Bakery Products were displayed by the students along with mesmerising Live Musical Performances by the students.
Seven Young HM Entrepreneurs who displayed their delicacies started baking during Covid and now are running their own business. They displayed a variety of products where Alisha brought designer cakes, pinata cakes, fruit cake slices and also involved international flavours, where Parisha displayed frozen desserts, donuts, Gurleen displayed crumble cookie jars which had immunity booster ingredients.
Mr. Anirban Gupta, Dean, PCTE-IHM said that all the students were in full zeal and enthusiasm. He further said “we are doing this event to create more awareness of having healthy food, these cakes are made with ingredients which are super immunity boosters.
Dr. K.N.S Kang Director General of the college said, “The Festive Season has finally begun and the students and faculty are in full swing.” He further added “It is important for the students to be familiar with various religions and cultures so that they love and respect all the communities and cultures and most importantly events like these help students to showcase their talent and boosts their confidence”
