PCTE kickstarts Crossbanding Season Three
PCTE Group of Institutes kickstarted Season 3 of the Crossbanding Sessions, which is an interactive moderated causerie with Strategic leaders in academics from the region.
Ludhiana, July 23, 2022: PCTE Group of Institutes kickstarted Season 3 of the Crossbanding Sessions, which is an interactive moderated causerie with Strategic leaders in academics from the region. The theme for the first session was Approaches & Strategies for Deeper Learning. Sumit Mandhwani who is a certified Erickson & Lanning Concept based Curriculum & Instruction (CBCI) independent Trainer, was the keynote speaker for the session.
The session was joined by the Principals from various schools around the region including Sat Paul Mittal, BCM School, DAV Public School, GRD Academy, to name a few, who gained from this highly interactive and collaborative discussion forum. All the faculty members of PCTE also attended the Session.
The speaker during his address elucidated the significance of deeper learning in academic institutions with a focus on teaching pedagogies, highlighting the relevance of asking question, strategies to reinforce learnings in students, myths involved in learning, research on learning, importance of feedback and many other points related to education delivery and management.
The Principals who joined the session expressed gratitude to PCTE for organizing the session for education leaders that highlighted the importance of preparing students for all the challenges that are waiting for them out there, in the real world and how they need to be able think for themselves and approach things critically, which is the true essence of deeper learning.
Bhupinder Gogia Principal, Satpaul Mittal School said, “A system of feedback from students and teachers and discussing it individually helps in carving out more practical ways and strategies to deal with all kinds of problems students face nowadays. This helps in including more interesting ideas in our teaching pedagogies.”
