PCTE student bags ‘15 Lakhs of Grant-in-Aid’ for startup Tastum King (Mix-Boil-Serve)

Ludhiana: Ms. Shifali Jain, an International Business student at PCTE bagged ‘15 Lakhs of Grant-in-Aid’ by Ministry of Agriculture & Farmer Welfare, for her startup Tastum King, an idea which was polished and developed by E-cell of PCTE under the guidance of expert management faculty having decades of experience.
Tastum King is a culinary startup that offers a wide range of blended spices which are instantly cooked by following only three directions- Mix, Boil and Serve. Their product ‘Jainz Foodz’ focuses on getting the aroma & flavors exactly the same every time.
Shifali Jain always wanted to explore entrepreneurship, the college’s E-cell provided her with the right direction. With the vision to attain excellence in the food industry and be the trusted brand in every household, PCTE wishes for her exponential growth and new heights in the entrepreneurial world.
Prof. Naresh Sachdev, Dean of Corporate Relations, said that this is a big achievement for PCTE E-Cell, not even a pandemic could hamper the entrepreneurial spirit of these students. The journey started way back in December 2019 and the entire team has put in their best efforts to achieve this.
Dr. KNS Kang Director-General said these achievements encourage the students to push themselves beyond the boundaries thereby setting them apart from the crowd. He congratulated the student by saying that she has set an example for everyone else out there.
