PCTE students of BJMC bagged Top Positions in PTU

Ludhiana, June 3, 2019: The students of Bachelors of Journalism and Mass Communication of PCTE Group of Institutes performed incredibly well in the Punjab Technical University Examination and bagged Top University Positions in the Merit list for semester examinations.

For BJMC, in the Second semester, Kalpna bagged the First Position with 9.00 SGPA, Garima Aggarwal stood second with 8.79 SGPA whereas Surekha Mahajan and Deepakshi Arora stood third and fifth with 8.58 and 8.29 SGPA respectively. Moving forward Manav Bansal and Anupreet Sapra bagged the sixth position with 8.25 SGPA and Mwatitah Faith Mwale and Simran Kaur stood seventh and ninth with SGPA of 8.17 and 7.96 correspondingly.

Moving to the fourth semester, Preity Sabharwal bagged the First Position with 8.63 SGPA, whereas Sukhpreet Singh, Nagah Salem Sasi Baskal and Kashish Khosla bagged the Second Position with 8.21 SGPA. Next, in the list are Shaveta Sharma and Ishita Jain who stood third with 8.00 SGPA. Lastly Jaspreet Singh Pahwa, Deepanshu Sharma and Karan Chopra acquired sixth and seventh position and ninth position with 7.21, 7.17 and 6.75 SGPA correspondingly.

On this, Dr. Rajpreet Singh Chattwal, Unit Head, Commerce Block, said that bagging such positions involves a lot of hard work and commitment. The students have performed remarkably well and we are proud of their achievements. He further added that in such a competitive world the focus of the students will offer them a better prospect ahead.
