PCTE students placed in IT sector amid lockdown
IT industry is going to boom in the near future as most businesses are now resorting to online job opportunities
Ludhiana: PCTE students of Computer Science Department recently bagged excellent placements in IT firms, even during the pandemic. Our MCA student, Parika has grabbed a position in a leading Online Tutoring Platform, Vedantu. Alisha, Kirandeep Kaur, Meenakshi and Sonika got placed in Education Culture, A Ludhiana based IT Company. Students have been offered immediate joining and they have been working from home with packages as good as 4 LPA. Apart from the placements taking place during Lockdown. Our BCA and MCA students have also got placed in Infosys, Wipro and many other IT Companies. Sakshi from MCA was selected in Infosys whereas Sahil from BCA made it to Wipro. Earlier, Gurleen Kaur also joined in a Ludhiana based IT Company and in a short period of time got promoted as well and continued her work from home amidst the Pandemic.
Strength of mind and evidence of intelligence can be seen in how one transforms this situation into an opportunity. Lockdown didn't become a hurdle in their road to success and even firms are giving opportunities to fresher’s at amazing packages in IT Industry.

PCTE, has shaped the BCA and MCA courses in a fully practical oriented way so that the students are market ready immediately after the course completion.
Dr. Gautam Bansal, Director of the institute said that PCTE has been preparing the students for the changing trends in job market and always encouraged them to acquire new skills and learn new technologies. He expressed happiness over the achievement of the students and said that the institute is hopeful that if the students have right skills, they will continue to perform strong in their professional careers despite tough times.
