PCTE Students on Study tour to USA

Ludhiana, December 30, 2014: Nine students of PCTE Group of Institutes went on to a study tour to USA last week. During the tour students will visit San Francisco, Los Angles, Las Vegas, Washington DC & New York. Till now group visited Golden Gate Bridge, Pier 39 Post, Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Century City, Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, Hollywood. The group will be celebrating New Year Eve at Las Vegas followed by a visit to White House, War Memorials, Statue of Liberty, Empire State, Wall Street, UNO Office & World Trade Centre. Earlier a batch of students from PCTE has visited UK, France and several European countries in a study tour in October this year.

 

Dr.V.P Mishra, Director, PCTE accompanying the students said that it is a great learning experience for all the students in understanding diversity, culture & heritage of west. He further added that Students enjoyed shopping at the Fashion Market, Union Centre & China Town at San Francisco”. The group was also amazed to witness the advanced technology usage at Universal Studios, Hollywood. Students enjoyed a deeper look into the special effects, digital cameras and background mixing used in the movies now-a-days, said Dr. Mishra.

 

“I am thankful to PCTE for providing me such an amazing opportunity of global exposure and learning. I look forward huge learning in terms of western culture and market during this visit” said Harpreet Kaur student MBA-2B, PCTE. She further added that I am amazed to visit all those places which I have always seen in movies from childhood, and now I am excited to celebrate my New Year Eve at Las Vegas.

 

Dr. K.N.S.Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes said that it was a life time experience for the students to get International first hand exposure and information about the States. Dr Kang  said  that PCTE has  thirteen International MOU signed with leading institutes in  France, Poland, Lithuania, UK, Romania, Africa , Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. He further added that apart from Study Tours, PCTE also enjoys regular student exchanges with University of Angers, France. Dr Kang said that today’s business is global business and it is very important that faculty and students must have global orientations to face the challenges of complex global business environment.
