PCTE Turf 2022 culminates on a high note with BCM, Shstri Nagar bagging the overall Trophy
PCTE Group of Institutes organised its Annual Inter-School Literary & Cultural Festival “TURF 2022” where more than 1000 students from 41 schools got the opportunity to participate in different events.
Ludhiana, October 19, 2022: PCTE Group of Institutes organised its Annual Inter-School Literary & Cultural Festival “TURF 2022” where more than 1000 students from 41 schools got the opportunity to participate in different events. The students got an opportunity to win cash prizes worth 2,40,000. The event saw participation from schools like Sat Paul Mittal School, BCM Arya Model School, KVM School, DCM Presidency, DAV Public School BRS Nagar, Ryan International School, Guru Nanak Public School, Bal Bharti Public School, KVM School, BCM- Basant City, Jesus Sacred Heart Convent School etc.
The stage and the audience remained jam-packed throughout the day with the events like Presidential Debate, JAM (Just a Minute), Dumb Charades, Sur Mantra (Solo Song Competition), Oven Love (Bakery competition), Quiz, Group Discussion, Picto and many more. “I am so fortunate to be a part of this mega event, I have enjoyed every bit of it and am also delighted to win 1st prize in the solo song competition” said Aagam Jain, student of BCM, Chandigarh road.
The overall trophy of Turf 2022 was bagged by BCM School, Shastri Nagar. In Debate the First Position was bagged by BCM (Shastri Nagar), Second Position was bagged by Jesus Sacred Heart School and Third Position was bagged by Peace Public School. First position in Group dance event was bagged by DCM Presidency, Second position by Guru Nanak Model Sr.Sec School and third was bagged by DAV BRS Nagar.
In Sur Mantra (Solo Song Competition) the first position was bagged by BCM School (Chandigarh Road), Second Position was bagged by DAV Public School, BRS Nagar and the third position was bagged by Atam Devi Niketan Public School. In Quiz, the first & second position was bagged by DAV BRS Nagar and Third was taken away by BCM Shastri Nagar.
Dr. KNS Kang, Director General PCTE appreciated and congratulated the efforts of the students and the faculty for organizing the events smoothly. It gets the students a handful of practice and loads of confidence on being on stage and mentioned that the vision behind fest was to make young boys and girls wear confidence as their armor. He further added that, Turf helps the school students to learn the art of being self-reliant and develop a kind of competitive spirit of winning which in turn helps them in facing the biggest challenges in their professional and personal life.
