PCTE's Designova: Turning heads with timeless class

Ludhiana, April 19, 2024: The Fashion Design Department at PCTE Group of Institutes proudly presented the second edition of its Annual Graduating Fashion Show, 'Designova,' today. This prestigious event served as a platform to unveil the extraordinary talent of our final year students, showcasing their impeccable designs and avant-garde creations.

The culmination of months of relentless dedication and boundless creativity unfolded today as 25 exceptional students took center stage to exhibit their meticulously crafted designs. From conceptualisation to execution, these budding designers have meticulously led every phase of the creative process, illustrating their prowess and foresight on this grand occasion.

Behind every successful designer stands an unwavering support system, and our esteemed faculty has played an instrumental role in nurturing and guiding these young talents throughout their journey. Their dedication has not only fostered creativity but has also empowered students to redefine the landscape of fashion.

Adding to the grandeur of the event, we were honoured to host Sunil Raj Vinayak and Varun Malhotra as our esteemed Chief Guests. With illustrious careers spanning over two decades, Vinayak's international acclaim has graced the stages of London Fashion Week, while Malhotra, boasting six years of industry experience, has captivated audiences with his collections at various fashion weeks. 

Their presence infused the occasion with unparalleled expertise and inspiration, reaffirming our commitment to excellence in the fashion domain. Mr. Malhotra’s innovative contributions, serving as the senior production manager and designer at Roop Kala, and Mr. Vinayak’s global expertise added a distinctive flair to the event, rendering it truly unforgettable.

The fashion show unfolded a mesmerising array of themes, each encapsulating a fusion of tradition and innovation. From the timeless allure of 'Vintage Vogue' to the dynamic energy of 'Flaming Louch,' and the majestic opulence of 'Monark Blazing,' the runway witnessed a kaleidoscope of styles and narratives that left an indelible mark on all attendees.
