Penpa Tsering thanks Himachal CM for Dalai Lama’s stay in state
In the letter addressed to the Chief Minister, the President thanked the Chief Minister for the support provided by the State Government
Shimla/Dharamsala: Chief Representative Officer at Shimla of Tibetan Government in Exile Tenzin Nawang, presented a letter to Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur here today on behalf of the President Tibetan Government in Exile Penpa Tsering.
In the letter addressed to the Chief Minister, the President thanked the Chief Minister for the support provided by the State Government and its people for providing home away from home to His Holiness The Dalai Lama and the Tibetan people.
Office Secretary, CRO, Shimla Tsering Choezom was also present on the occasion.
Chief Minister takes part in Sarv Dharam Prarthana Sabha.
Later, Chief minister also participated in a Sarv Dharam Prarthana Sabha at Shimla for praying to the Almighty to grant peace to those who lost their lives due to this virus and strength to the families who lost their near and dear.
CM said, “Covid pandemic has adversely affected the world and lakhs of people have lost their lives due to the virus and thousands of families have also been affected by Corona infection in Himachal Pradesh.”
Two minutes of silence was also observed to pray for the peace of those who lost their lives.
