Personal influence of candidates will play major role in deciding poll results in Punjab

CHANNI INCREASED HIS POPULARITY?
Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi with announcements in public interest may be of electricity tariff or slashing the rates of petrol and diesel in Punjab, announcement of regularizing all those at present working on ad-hoc basis in government departments has certainly raised the popularity of Congress Government among the masses. After the exit of Capt Amarinder Singh from Congress Channi is leaving no stone unturned in announcing freebies and bonanzas to the people of Punjab. It is to be noted that in Punjab the rates of petrol and diesel are quite low than the other states as it is petrol and diesel that inflates the rates of essential commodities. There is a general feeling that the benefit of electricity tariff must be passed on to every consumer, whatever status he or she enjoys in the society. Presently, the PPCC chief Navjot Singh Sidhu is also levying allegations on various issues against the opposition parties through tweets on twitter, whereas the former PPCC chief Sunil Kumar Jakhar seems to be now on a slow mode in issuing tweets on the current prevailing political scenario within the Congress or the Opposition. 
BJP WORKING OUT STARTEGY FOR PUNJAB
BJP leaders have cleared that the party will contest on all the Punjab Assembly seats in the coming Punjab assembly elections. The party’s senior leaders Saudan Singh National Vice President, Dushyan Gautam National General Secretary, Dr Narinder Singh National Secretary, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister for State Meenakshi Lekhi, Vinod Chavada (MP) have already collected the detailed ground reality of Punjab BJP. What strategy the party adopts in the coming Punjab Assembly Elections? This is the question arising in the minds of people of the state now. Besides, questions such as will the party high command successful in solving the farmers’ issues is also striking in the mind of everyone. There is possibility that in Punjab BJP shall allocate duties to its state senior leaders and preference will be given to them during allocation of the party tickets. There are reports that Punjab BJP leaders are busy in making election manifesto, carrying out meetings with assembly in-charges to finalize the strategy for the coming Punjab Assembly Elections.  
ABOUT SAD-BSP ALLIANCE 
As hardly few months are left for the Punjab Assembly Elections, the SAD-BSP alliance is focusing its energy to motivate political leaders of other political parties to join it.
AAP ON WAIT AND WATCH POLICY 
Aam Adami Party (AAP) seems to be on wait and Watch policy, as the recent visit to Punjab of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was cancelled, whatever may be the reason behind the cancellation but one thing is clear that all the political parties in Punjab are keeping an eye on the future strategy of AAP.
Whatever may be the situation, there is a general feeling that personal influence of a candidate will play a major role in deciding the poll results in the coming assembly elections in Punjab. Besides, the ground level activities of the candidate in the past five Years will also play a key role.
