Personality development program working for overall development of students
KMV runs this program
Jalandhar: In order to make the students more professional & ready to compete in this world, KMV (Kanya Maha Vidyalaya) has been running Personality Development Program.
Throwing more light on it, Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that under the Autonomous status granted to the college, the college has made this programme compulsory for the undergraduate students of third semester & this time more than 650 students from the college attended this programme.
Under the programme, all the students were divided into 4 sections and 20 interactive sessions and workshops were organized for the students to acquaint them on diverse topics such as positive attitude, self confidence, body health, body language, resume writing, interview skills, SWOT analysis, goal setting, wardrobe planning, stress management, food and nutrition, group discussion and time management etc. Total 16 resource persons were invited to give talks on these topics to the students. Apart from this, a two day workshop on self analysis, public speaking and group discussion was also organized for the students under this programme.
Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the efforts of programme co-ordinator Mrs. Satinder Kaur & Mrs. Mani Khehra for the successful organization of the programme. /Rajat Kumar
