P.G. Department of Commerce and Business Administration Lyallpur Khalsa College organised Orientation Program for first semester students

On the occasion of the commencement of the new session 2024-25, an Orientation Program was organized by P.G. Department of Commerce and Business Administration to welcome the students of the first semester.

On the occasion of the commencement of the new session 2024-25, an Orientation Program was organized by P.G. Department of Commerce and Business Administration to welcome the students of the first semester.
The main objective of the event was to connect the newly admitted students with the academic, cultural and social environment of the college. Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh attended the function as the chief guest. On this occasion, he said that the purpose of college education is not only academic excellence but also personal and all-round development of the student. He asked the students to make full use of it.
A cultural program including folk song and dance performances was organized by the senior students of the department to welcome the juniors. After this, the deans and in-charges of the various departments and co-curricular activities provided information about the college, events and function of different clubs and societies.
Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu, Head Department of Commerce advised the students to set individual and team goals and make road map to achieve them. In the end, Dr. Raminder Kaur Bhatia expressed her gratitude and wished a good and bright future for all the students. The forum was moderated by students Kashika (B.Com Semester-I), Ekta (B.Com Semester-III), Arshdeep (BBA Semester-I), Bramjot and Shweta.
On this occasion Prof. Amita Shahid, Prof. Vivek Mahajan, Dr. Ubique Bedi, Dr. Navdeep Kumar, Dr. Patwant Kaur Atwal, Dr. Raminder Kaur Bhatia, Prof. Manish Goel, Dr. Pooja Ralhan Gulati, Dr. Jyoti Vohra, Prof. Vineet Kumar Gupta and other teachers were also present.
