Firemen trying to extinguish fire that broke out in the premises of Indra Hosiery in Sunder Nagar locality at Ludhiana on Tuesday late evening. The fire brigade officials got a call at around 9-10 pm following which fire tenders were rushed to extinguish the fire, in which goods worth lakhs were destroyed. Three storey building was seen in the flames within a few minutes after the fire first broke out in the first floor. The electric short circuit is stated to be the cause. No one has been hurt in the fire. The nearby factory workers had also got panicky after they saw the fire spreading. Some of them had even started rushing out of their factory premises adjoining Indra Hosiery.
