Activists of Shiv Sena (Punjab) under the leadership of Punjab chairman Rajiv Tandon staged a protest against the functioning of the state government at Ludhiana on Wednesday. They alleged that different “mafias” were operating in Punjab. Tandon announced that they would hold a “Punjab Bachao Rally” (Save Punjab Rally) at Amritsar on January 6 next.
