Photography Exhibition organized in Doaba College 

Jalandhar, August 20, 2024: On World Photography Day, P.G Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of Doaba College Jalandhar organized a photography competition & exhibition. Puneet Sharma, PCS, Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar was invited as the chief guest. Sh. Karamveer Sandhu adjudged the photographs related to theme, “An Entire Day”.

Puneet Sharma, elated to look at the pictures, said that the students are lucky enough to get trained in this field under the best of academic and field experts at Doaba college.

Dr. Pardeep Bhandari, Principal, Doaba College appreciated the creative efforts of the students. He said, “Youth must be encouraged in a positive direction through such endeavours”

Around 170 photographs were displayed at Late Lady Aruna Paul Recreation Centre, Doaba College by the students for competition.

Winners of the competition were announced on the basis of Theme, Composition and  Story Telling. Sukhraj and Amrita of BAJMC SEM III were announced First and Second prize winners. Bhavya BAJMC SEM V stood third. Vikas and Rohit from BAJMC SEM I bagged consolation prizes.
