Piaggio announces service support to flood affected customers in Kerala
Pune, 12 September 2018: Piaggio Vehicles Pvt Ltd (PVPL), a 100 % subsidiary of the Italian Piaggio Group (European leader of the 2wh sector) announced a service camp to provide comprehensive service support to affected Piaggio customers in Kerala. This service camp will be functional till September 15, 2018 at all the authorized dealers and service centers of the company. The company has set up special emergency repair teams consisting of trained technicians. As a part of this service camp to support the flood-affected customers, Piaggio is offering free breakdown and towing service, free labour and oil filter for its 3wheeler and 4 wheeler customers. PVPL is also offering discounts on replacement of oil and spare parts for flood-damaged vehicles. In addition PVPL employees have contributed from their salary and PVPL has contributed an equal amount which is being given to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Ltd. said, “We deeply empathize with the people of Kerala who have witnessed unprecedented floods leading to sudden loss of lives and damage to property and infrastructure. Along with our dealer partners, we have started service support network to help our valued customers in their hour of need. We hope that situation normalizes soon. At the moment our key priority is to bring back affected vehicles on the road, at the earliest and bring some relief to our customers.”
