Ferozepur, December 24, 2012: Under the central government scheme, the slum area in Feroepur will have solar lights of the value of Rs.20 lakhs, said Parminder Singh Pinki, Congress MLA from Ferozepur City .
Giving this information, Pinki said, Punjab Government is not taking care towards the development of Ferozepur City assembly constituency but he will try his best for all round development of the city as per his promise to the citizens of Ferozepur, he would continue to bring such grants at his own.
He further said, it will be gift to the citizens of slum areas on Christmas Day and these solar lights will be fitted on the road side of the Ferozepur City and Cantt.
He also said, his main aim is over-all development of Ferozepur City , setting up of new industrial projects to give employment to the unemployed youths and opening of Hussainiwala border.
On this occassion, H. S. Bittu Sangha, Gulshan Monga, advocate, Dharamjit Singh, Ajay Joshi, Sanjay Gupta, Chamkaur Singh Dhindsa, Gogi Pyareana, Harinder Dhindsa, Rinku Grover, Daljit Singh Dulchike and Balbir Bath were present.
