Plasma 2021 organized by Computer Science Department of Lyallpur Khalsa College

Jalandhar: P.G. Department of Computer Science & IT, Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar organized the 20th Annual Online Plasma-2021. 286 students from 27 colleges of Jalandhar, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Phagwara, Ludhiana, New Delhi and Gurdaspur participated in the inter-college competitions. During these competitions students were given 12 different competitions like Tech GD, IT in Colors, Software Showcase, Logo Designing, Logic Whirlpool, Test Your Technical Skills, Net Savvy, Idea Snapshots, IT Quiz, Web Portal Development, Rjying, Framez (Short movie). Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra was the chief guest of the event. He was welcomed by the Head of the Department Dr. Manohar Singh. Addressing the students Principal Dr. Samra wished them all the best for showcasing their talents. He appealed the students to focus on their own country for their studies and career. He spoke about the efforts being made by the college for the overall development of the students and inspired them to shine the name of the college and the country on every front with their dedication and hard work. He told the students that Lyallpur Khalsa College is always committed for the holistic development of the students and college administration can be contacted at any time to solve any problem in the college. Then he declared Plasma 2021 open. Head of Department Dr. Manohar Singh introduced the program and thanked the managing committee of the college and the principal Dr. Samra. He also welcomed the teachers, judges and students participating in the program. The technical aspect of the event was supervised by Dr. Manpreet Singh Lehal and Dr. Daljit Kaur anchored the event skillfully. Meanwhile, Dr. Surinder Pal Mand Dean Student Welfare, Prof. Sanjeev Anand, Prof. Sandeep Bassi, Dr. Baldev Singh, Prof. Manpreet Singh, Prof. Sandeep Singh, Prof. Mandeep Bhatia, Prof. Gagandeep Singh, Prof. Ratnakar Mann and other staff members were present. The function concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Head of the Department Dr. Manohar Singh.
