PM Modi to visit Punjab on Jan 5

Jalandhar, December 28, 2021: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Punjab on January 5, 2022.
This will be his maiden visit to Punjab after the roll back of three farm laws.
He will be laying foundation stone of PGI Satellite Center at Ferozepur. Apart from this he will address a public meeting.
Hopes are there that he can announce financial package for Punjab which can prove to be a big booster for Punjab’s economy and infrastructure development.
The state BJP leaders will be conducting series of meetings up to mandal level to motivate the masses to participate in the historic rally of PM. The party’s state president Ashwani Sharma is at Jalandhar to conduct series of meetings with the party leaders including the party’s state general secretary Dr Subash Sharma.
There is possibility that some senior leaders of opposition parties may join BJP in coming days.
